Defying The Stereotype

December 14, 2011 / Posted in Inspiration / No Comments

It’s been a long-established stereotype that artists – especially designers – aren’t athletic, or interested in sports to begin with. So I’ve been told repeatedly anyway. I’ve been an avid Leaf’s fan for as long as I can remember, and absolutely love the fact that they’re finally doing things properly and rebuilding. The more games they lose the better as this season goes on. It’s tough sometimes relaxing on Saturday night watching the game and cheering for the other team, but I’ve found that a great way to counteract this feeling is to get involved in fantasy sports (like a hockey-pool). That way, you can play your guys against the Leaf’s and end up having a great night in the end.

The more games the Leaf’s lose this season, the better draft pick we’ll get in the summer and ultimately the team will be better down the road.
