JoeMobi Releases a Major Update
Before the holidays we posted an article about a new app that we’re really excited about called JoeMobi. Developed by our friends at SpeakFeel Inc., JoeMobi gives WordPress-based bloggers a customized BlackBerry or Android app that their readers can download to their phone and use to read and interact with their blog or website. The site admin can simply download the free plugin to their WordPress site from the official WordPress plugin directory, log on to joemobi.com, register their site’s URL, and chooses the logo and background colours for the new app. This is not a fully customized app, but for less than 1% of the cost, it’s pretty darn good.
JoeMobi has just released a huge update which fixes push notifications for BlackBerry, and they’re now also releasing the updates for Android devices as well. The BlackBerry app now uses the same user interface, categories and search as the slick Android version.

- Removed old “pull” notifications (to save battery life, since swapping to push)

WordPress Plugin:
- Fixed an issue when using the Transposh Translation Filter (http://transposh.org/)
- Fixed issue with comments not posting to blog (both Disqus and native WordPress comments)
